Vincent Walsh specialises in human brain stimulation and plasticity. He has published papers on dyslexia, mathematical learning, brain damage, sleep, and plasticity in the adult brain. He currently holds a Royal Society Industry Fellowship, which allows him to spend half of his time applying scientific research to real world problems. He is now working with industry to develop and promote human brain stimulation in the treatment of illnesses such as depression and is applying his knowledge of brain development and learning in the sporting world. Walsh is a science advisor to Peak, a cognitive training startup, where he is co-creating games that help improve decision-making and willpower.
